Pretend City Children’s Museum

Once completed, the newly relocated Pretend City Children's museum will provide an interactive hub of education for children within the City of Irvine's expansive Great Park.

Griffin Structures is providing Program and Construction Management services for the relocation of the Pretend City Children’s Museum. Located within the City of Irvine, the current museum is essentially a “world in a nut-shell” for children to interact with and explore, learning how the world works while engaging their curiosities and imaginations.

Maintaining its commitment to balance rich education intention and fun, the current museum will be relocated to the City of Irvine’s Great Park. The new facilities will not only offer a new museum and main building, but will also house community and gallery space, café, and dedication administration facilities within its multi-building configuration. This project will incorporate ambitious sustainability goals as well as several exterior exhibits to integrate into the expansive Great Park area.
