Westminster Police Department Headquarters

“Griffin Structures staff continues to provide outstanding professional services and is instrumental in bringing our projects to completion ahead of schedule and under budget."

J. Mitchell Waller, Former City Manager, City of Westminster

Griffin Structures served as program and construction manager for a new, comprehensive Westminster Police Department to replace the City’s previous headquarters which had been in operation since 1975. The new 88,000 square foot, three-story police services building includes a Type 1 jail facility; emergency operations center; evidence, forensics, and training rooms; offices for patrol, investigations, dispatch, administration, and all related support services. The facility was designed and constructed as an “essential services” building.

The power supply for the $52 million LEED Platinum® facility is nearly 100 percent supported by a 410 kW photovoltaic system installed on top of the adjacent four-level parking structure. Griffin also managed construction of the parking structure.
