Westminster Corporation Yard

The project, on the City-owned corporate yard, was also able to incorporate a new Police Department training facility used by multiple agencies.

Griffin Structures provided Program and Construction Management services for the City of Westminster Corporation Yard project, transforming an aging and operationally constrained public works facility into a modernized, efficient municipal operations campus. Following a comprehensive needs assessment and operational review, Griffin developed a phased implementation strategy that allowed vehicle maintenance and essential City services to remain fully operational throughout construction.

The project included demolition of the existing 29,000 SF Public Works facility and construction of a new 40,000 SF building delivered through a Design-Build approach. Improvements included upgraded yard circulation and workflow, modernized administrative, shop, and storage spaces, operational efficiency enhancements, and a 10,000 SF expansion supporting Police Department training functions. Griffin also coordinated civil, geotechnical, and environmental surveys and prepared the program and basis of design.
