Overview
The Irvine Transportation Center is a 1,500-space, four-level structure encompassing 490,000 square feet. The $26.8 million project services Amtrak and MetroLink passenger rail services, as well as Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) hub bus routes.
The parking and passenger facility serves 675,000 passengers annually, making it the busiest station in Orange County. The project was funded by OCTA, the California Department of Transportation, and the Federal Transit Administration.
Griffin Structures served as construction manager for the project which was completed under budget and five weeks ahead of schedule.
