Today’s ribbon-cutting celebrates the opening of the County Administration South building at the Orange County Civic Center. The $180 million project was delivered utilizing a Public-Private Partnership (P3) delivery method with Griffin Structures serving as the lead developer.
Griffin Structures completed the project five months ahead of schedule and returned $5 million in savings to the County.
The 250,000-square-foot, six-story County Administration South building sits atop two levels of underground parking and includes a free-standing conference center.
Construction for the companion building, County Administration North–also utilizing P3 project delivery–breaks ground on October 1.
