Overview
Griffin Structures served as the developer, Program and Construction Managers for the innovative Public-Private Partnership (P3) delivery of the new Rialto Public Safety Headquarters. The project replaces an overcrowded 1973 police station and three modular buildings with a resilient two-building campus that unified operations and improved public access. This Design-Build-Finance-Operate-Maintain (DBFOM) partnership provided a cost-effective delivery solution while optimizing long-term value.
The Main Headquarters includes 911 dispatch, patrol, investigations, a Real Time Crime Center, administration, records, IT, holding, and a community room. The Support Building houses non-essential functions and an eight-lane tactical firing range. Daylighting, solar-responsive design, existing PV, and 70% lower energy use supports LEED Silver goals, while dedicated expansion space accommodates for future growth.
