The Hesperia Civic Center Park is a focal point and centerpiece of Hesperia’s Civic Center. It is the “environmental friendly” glue that binds the sustainable City Hall, Library, Police Headquarters, and County Building into one cohesive place for civic activities. This 5-acre jewel contains an amphitheater, meeting areas, acitivity spaces, play areas, and more.
Griffin Structures served as construction manager for the park which encompassed planning, design, and construction, and on-site/off-site improvements. The Civic Plaza Park was delivered within a 6-month schedule and opened June 2008.
The park is the recipient of an AWPA Project of the Year Award for Park and Recreational Facilities.
