Tustin Library

"Griffin’s understanding of how the various City departments function was vital to the timely completion and quality control of the Library project."

Christine Shingleton, Assistant City Manager (Retired), City of Tustin

Griffin Structures provided construction management services for delivery of a new Tustin Library. The facility is owned by the City of Tustin and operated under a lease agreement with the Orange County Public Library (OCPL). The new 32,000 square-foot library includes an outdoor plaza and connects to Tustin City Hall. The facility serves students from both the Tustin and Santa Ana School Districts and is one of the busiest libraries in the OCPL system. Private study and tutoring rooms separate children and young adults for quality learning. The new $22.5 million facility allowed the library to expand its collections and enhance visitor amenities, providing 223 reader seats and 99 technology stations.
