Foster City Recreation Center

Griffin Structures is assisting Foster City with the re-envisioning of its Recreation Center which will serve as a key community hub at the heart of the City.

Griffin Structures is providing Project and Construction Management as the City seeks to replace the William E. Walker Recreation Center at the heart of Leo J Ryan Park. The brand-new facility will expand the opportunities for events and recreation, providing a vibrant new hub of activity for the community. With spaces for small, medium, and large-scale classes, meetings and events; fitness, dance, and exercise classes; arts and ceramics programs; senior communities and events; and more, the new Recreation Center will offer the community of Foster City a wide range of specialized and flexible spaces to meet, learn, and recreate.

Adjacency to the lagoon will require innovative approaches to construction management, as well as an assortment of additional, various site considerations which must be properly coordinated to ensure successful delivery.
