The Southern California Chapter of the American Public Works Association recently announced its 2017 BEST (Building Excellence|Shaping Tomorrow) Project of the Year Awards. Quartz Hill Library, a Griffin-led P3 project for the County of Los Angeles Public Library, and two other Griffin-managed projects, Irvine’s Quail Hill Community Center and Hawthorne’s Bicentennial Park, were selected. In addition, Griffin served as a subconsultant on the STV-led project management team for the Anaheim Convention Center expansion, which was also recognized.  The four projects will be honored at the Chapter’s annual awards luncheon next month.
