Overview
Griffin Structures provided Program and Construction Management services to Heal the Bay for its Healthy Neighborhoods, Healthy Environments Initiative. The team supported delivery of a multi-benefit neighborhood park in the Green Meadows community of South Los Angeles, transforming an underutilized site into a vibrant public amenity.
The park incorporated decomposed granite walking paths, outdoor fitness equipment, native and drought-tolerant landscaping, and passive recreation spaces. A key feature included green infrastructure elements designed to capture and treat stormwater runoff from surrounding streets, improving local water quality and supporting watershed health. The completed park enhanced community access to open space while advancing environmental resilience goals.
