Griffin Structures provided Program and Construction Management for the City of Rancho Palos Verdes’ Ladera Linda Community Center and Park. For this project, five existing buildings totaling 18,574 SF were demolished and replaced with a new 6,790 SF single-story community center building with an overall building footprint of 13,720 SF. The new community center is home to a multi-purpose room with a seating capacity of 144, two classrooms, multi-function meeting and discovery room, work room, storage and staging areas, staff offices, outdoor breezeway, and kitchenette.

The associated park and outdoor improvements include an outdoor tiered seating area, naturalistic children’s playground, one full and one half basketball court, storage area, and renovated paddle tennis courts. Additional improvements pertaining to sustainable landscaping, trails and walking paths are also included.
