Griffin Structures is providing program and construction management services for the design and construction of a new Tustin corporate yard facility which will house the City’s Water Operations headquarters and serve as a secondary emergency operations center (EOC). The project consists of demolishing an existing fire station and facilities maintenance office trailers and constructing a new 17,284-square-foot structure, built to essential services facility standards, to house staff offices as well as a new state-of-the-art EOC with back up emergency dispatch center and Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Services (RACES) room. The facility will also house the City’s Field Services Division and includes a new wellness center for City staff use, men’s and women’s locker rooms, and conference rooms. The site will feature a command vehicle storage facility, new water lab, facilities maintenance storage, covered parking, photovoltaics, site parking improvements, improved centralized power to the site, and a landscape demonstration garden.
